When it comes to family revenge, sometimes it pays off to play the long game. This husband was tired of his mother-in-law's antics and decided that the only way to get back at her was to get even… For more than a decade. 

It's not uncommon to disagree with our spouse's parents, but after decades of marriage and building a life together that no longer necessitates their constant involvement, getting barraged by an overbearing mother-in-law is exhausting. While run-ins with the in-laws are a simple part of family life, when your mother-in-law has a key to the house, nitpicks your wife, and starts taking control of your household, it's time to step in. 

This husband stepped in and he stepped up after catching his monster-in-law changing the orientation of their toilet paper after nagging them that they're doing it wrong. Because after watching his wife wither under the controlling hand of this woman, he wasn't going to back down from this petty fight.

    It may not seem important to some, but for those of us who have spent years curating our living space, the toilet paper orientation is a very important detail. While some argue that the 'mullet style' is superior to the 'beard style,' anyone with any sense of class has to admit that the little tail end of the TP has to go on the front side. No negotiations. No changes. 

    So when this man discovered that his MIL was tampering with their bathroom, it was the final straw.
